The surgery finished in a short amount of time, so the swelling itself was not severe, and I was surprised that I had no pain from right after the surgery until now. Even after waking up from anesthesia, I had no pain, and the staff helped me well, so waking up was not difficult either. After surgery, the director continued to see me for follow-up care, and I received swelling management and so on, so it felt like the swelling went down very quickly. I was also able to return to daily life much earlier than expected. The malocclusion and jaw issues that could not be corrected with orthodontic treatment alone, and that I had always been worried about, were all resolved at once, so I am very satisfied.
