My whole face looked angular and my cheekbones protruded, so overall my face looked unfashionable, wide, and spread out, which was incredibly stressful. My friends even gave me the nickname “Shin cheekbones” (Shin Jung-hwan cheekbones)..ㅠㅠ On top of that, my impression looked strong, so people around me used to treat me cautiously… But then something shocking happened.. I met a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time, and she had completely transformed! She had become so, so pretty. That friend also had an angular face and protruding cheekbones, so people said she looked strong, and the two of us used to talk about jaw and cheekbone stuff together,, Honestly, hers was worse than mine, so I didn’t say it out loud, but in my heart I had thought, ah.. thank goodness.. that she’s there.. I even had thoughts like that.. sob sob… But now!! Her impression looked softer, she looked pretty when she smiled too, wow,,, she really looked like a different person. Now… I’m the only one left…. I held back the anger rising inside me and just kept repeating, “Wow, you got pretty..” and “I’m jealous.” So in the end, after thinking it over carefully, I felt I couldn’t go on like this, so I got a consultation at the same place where that friend had hers done and decided to have surgery. When the director explained things to me, I really felt like if only my jaw and cheekbones were reduced, I could live with true confidence.. hahaha There was the huge obstacle of having to persuade my parents! But anyway, the surgery day came around. hahaha I had my jaw and cheekbones done together, and once I got on the operating table, I was so short of breath. Even while listening to the nurse comforting me, saying it would be hard to have surgery if I couldn’t calm down, I was so anxious and scared that tears came out. Before I knew it, I heard them say they were starting anesthesia, and as the voice saying, “Have a deep sleep for a while,” faded away, I went under anesthesia. After sleeping deeply for a while, the anesthesiologist woke me up.. In a dazed state, I opened my eyes and thought, ah.. this is the recovery room.. and watched as the nurse gave me injections and did things.. Is this what it feels like to be high… hahaha Honestly, when the anesthesia wore off, it hurt, and the pain made it really hard, but after taking painkillers and applying compresses, by nighttime there was almost no pain.. I feel like I slept deeply for the first time in a while hahaha The next day, I asked the director whether the surgery went well, and he said it went well and that I thought I’d turn out pretty. Still, the swelling went down faster than expected, and my slim face shape gradually started to show. The funny thing is, since there was swelling after surgery, my face was supposed to look like a flat rice-cake board.. But even so, because there were no angles, my face looked round and wide, and strangely it looked smaller than before surgery!! Ahh… why did I put up with it all this time??? It’s so funny.. But the swelling was worst on day 3.. I spent about 3 days like Anpanman, and I even wondered what I’d do if the swelling never went down. But of course, swelling is just swelling, so let’s not misunderstand~ hahahaha I didn’t do anything the hospital told me not to do. After 2 or 3 months, my face settled into place, and now because of my slim face, I even hear that my first impression is good when I go on blind dates ^^* Once I gained confidence, I found myself treating people much more brightly than before. Now I even have a boyfriend.. although I kept the surgery a secret hahaha I quietly asked my boyfriend. Do you like an ugly woman, or a pretty woman even if she had plastic surgery? My heart was pounding inside, but my boyfriend said he likes a pretty woman even if she had plastic surgery hahaha I thought, men really are beasts… but I feel proud. After surgery, it was hard because of the pain, but since the surgical result is good, I don’t even think about my old appearance anymore.. I’m proud of my V-line in my own way, and I love it so much.. ^^ For those wondering whether to have surgery or not, stay strong!! Blessings come to those who endure even when it’s hard!! hahaha I’m embarrassed, but I’m uploading photos for you to look at. hahaha The first photo was taken at home before surgery. The next photo is one month after surgery, and the next photo was taken by my boyfriend when we went to the beach in September. Was it 4 months after surgery? It was after that~^^ I still have a habit of lowering my head without realizing it ^^;;
