Place A seemed like it would have that much know-how because it did many fat grafting cases for reasons like lower cost, etc. Place B was a fat-specialty hospital (I had waist liposuction there this spring and was fairly satisfied), so it did not have as many fat grafting cases, and the cost was 00 won for the first session, and if doing a second session, half the price of the first. Even the first session alone was 400,000 won more expensive than A’s first and second sessions combined, but they joked that 99% of patients are satisfied with just the first session and don’t do the second, so it doesn’t help the hospital...
After worrying over it, I finally asked about the surgery time. A said it would take one hour, and B said it would take about 4-5 hours including recovery, so I immediately had the surgery at B. Since I only weigh 43 kg, the doctor said, in their words, they had scraped fat from every corner of my abdomen, and joked that I got 4 million won worth of liposuction for free, laughing ^*^ I went at 12 and came home at 6 in the evening, so you can imagine how meticulous and thorough they were...
At that hospital 4 years ago, they didn’t even design the fat-harvesting area, and they didn’t tell me to wear a compression garment or do cold compresses, but since this was a liposuction specialty hospital, it was different in many ways. Also, many people worry it will hurt, but honestly there was no pain at all, and doing cold compresses was the hardest. I paid so much attention to it that I even did it when I woke up while sleeping, so now all the swelling has gone down and only a little bruising remains. They say doing cold compresses for about two months is key.
I have a slightly retruded chin, so I asked them to pay the most attention to that, and I really like it.
