I’m writing a 4-month review for Director Shin Hee-jin at EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery! Those who know probably already know, but by chance I saw a post by a student on the university student community app Everytime about their two-jaw surgery review. In that post, they said their life changed because of two-jaw surgery and that if you’re debating it, you should definitely do it. I happened to be struggling a lot because of my jaw at that time too, so I immediately sent them a message. So in the end, I chose EU Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and had the surgery! My jaw was long and protruded a little forward, so I was very stressed every time I took photos Especially my side profile, I really didn’t have the confidence to look at it, so I always hid it. When I looked in the mirror, I only saw myself from the front, so I thought it didn’t show much, but when I saw side-profile photos taken by my friends, it was definitely noticeable. Every time I saw that, my self-esteem dropped sharply.. haha That’s how my jaw gradually became a major complex for me, and once I became an adult and had a little more financial leeway, I felt I shouldn’t put it off any longer, so I finally decided to have surgery. Time that felt like it would never pass has flowed by, and now I’m already entering my 4th month..!! Even up to the 3rd month, I still had some swelling when I woke up in the morning, but now there is almost no swelling even after I sleep and wake up:) So I have much fewer reasons to feel stressed because of swelling. Acquaintances I met after a long time also complimented me, saying the surgery turned out so well, and even people who opposed it at first saw the actual result and praised me, saying it was really good that I had the surgery. At first, I was really scared and worried a lot just like everyone else, but in the end, I’m certain that trusting my decision and choosing surgery was one of the best things I’ve done in my life. I never knew it could feel this happy to no longer be stressed about my side profile like before and to be able to stand confidently in front of people! If you’re considering two-jaw surgery, I hope you won’t be swayed by what people around you say and will trust your own feelings, like I did. Before surgery, I was scared and worried a lot too, but now I’m truly satisfied! I completely understand that many people say two-jaw surgery is scary, but if you meet a truly trustworthy hospital and medical team like I did, you can break free from the complex you’ve had and start a new life!!!
