At first, I was suspicious because the hospital was so close to the station that it felt like a factory-style clinic, but from the consultation to the care, they were very meticulous and kind. Since my goal was to correct the shape of my nostrils, everyone around me says it turned out naturally well, and I’m also very satisfied~ Other than feeling stuffy while my nose was blocked with cotton, I had no discomfort at all. I woke up well from the anesthesia, and since I’m naturally prone to swelling, except for my eyes swelling a lot on day 2, my recovery was quick too. People around me asked, “Doesn’t it hurt? I heard rhinoplasty hurts a lot,” but it really didn’t hurt..? That’s how good my progress was. Even though I even had an osteotomy haha Originally the cotton was supposed to be removed the day after surgery, but because it was a clinic holiday, I ended up having it removed 2 days later. Cotton removal didn’t hurt either, and removing the splint after a week also didn’t hurt at all, maybe because my skin is super oily.. However, when the stitches were removed after 2 weeks, I teared up a little. For one side of my nose, they had softened it with wet cotton, so only one side hurt, and I didn’t feel anything on the rest. I chose this hospital because other hospitals said the same things about the nose design as Director Lee did (starting point of the nose, silicone height, etc.). The difference was that the previous hospital said my septal cartilage wasn’t large enough, so I would need to use autologous or donated costal cartilage. But Director Lee Ji-hwan said septal cartilage alone would be enough, and the silicone would also be custom-made, so I felt more reassured in terms of side effects. So for me, 2.3 mm silicone was used for the nasal bridge, septal cartilage for the nasal tip, and ear cartilage was used too. Looking at most reviews, the silicone goes over 3–4 mm, but since my goal wasn’t height, I’m extremely satisfied right now. Especially, I disliked nostrils that looked too close to the nasal tip or rose vertically, and the celebrity nose photos I brought also had a rounded feeling. After removing the splint, I saw that they made the shape even prettier than I had imagined Honestly, I only went to two hospitals, and I went in without much pre- or post-op knowledge haha After surgery, looking at other reviews, I definitely think trust in the director has a big influence on the choice. I also received swelling laser treatment every time I went, and whenever I had questions, they kindly answered right away, so I didn’t even have time to worry. I had always wanted rhinoplasty, so I had never even gotten nose filler. I didn’t have time because of work, so I ended up getting surgery late, but the result is good, so I’m so happy,,,
