I really want to get my revision rhinoplasty done this year, so I spent months seriously looking things up online.. HYD (Dr. Im), LMTD (Dr. Kim), HM (Dr. Kim), like this After my first surgery failed, what I realized is that with rhinoplasty, and probably other surgeries too, the surgeon’s skill is important, but I think the materials and a certain amount of luck also have to be on your side Since it’s a revision, I’m worried about contracture too, and ear cartilage and septal cartilage feel less sturdy than rib cartilage, so I’m considering autologous costal cartilage. But the harvesting method or incision size doesn’t vary hugely from hospital to hospital, right?? After my first surgery, when I went home, I just caught a taxi and went alone. How bad is the pain after harvesting autologous costal cartilage? Is it to the point where I can go home alone, or would I need someone to support me?
김체리 HM is famous for autologous costal cartilage. The more surgical experience they have, the more it seems they make the incision as small as possible and suture neatly!
와세히 I also had mine done with autologous costal cartilage, and I really don’t think HYD is the type to make a large incision! I haven’t compared it with other places, though.. Maybe because techniques are good these days, but my scar doesn’t really bother me
