It’s a revision rhinoplasty (exactly one month today. Silicone + ear cartilage + autologous costal cartilage) They said the donated costal cartilage used in my first surgery was in a bad position, so my mucous membrane was already very weakened. Sure enough... today they found a mucosal adhesion on the upper left side with an endoscope Fortunately, I can breathe about 95% through my left nostril, but there’s a whistling sound every time I breathe. How should I put it... it constantly feels like a tiny booger is blocking the airway. It’s not to the point where I can’t breathe, but it’s not wide open either... (confirmed it’s not a perforation) When I told the director about this lol, they said that at one month, because of mucosal swelling, an ENT could diagnose it as an adhesion... but anyone can see it’s an adhesion lol I’m planning to have corrective surgery to detach only the adhered area at 3–6 months. If it were you, where would you do it? 1. The hospital where I had my nose surgery. They know my nose well. But since it’s supposedly not a surgical mistake, I’d have to pay the cost myself. 2. One of the two, Guk Wonseok or Seo Sangwoo. They seem to have done many cases like this. 3. The ENT department at a university hospital. I work there as a nurse. I get an employee discount.
