Facial Surgery Reviews@face-review

Day 3

Hello I had facial contouring (cheekbones + jaw) on May 17.. I happened to go in to look into revision double eyelid surgery and ended up going for it...;;; Ever since I was young, my cheekbones and jaw had been a complex of mine, but surgery scared me so much that I couldn’t even think about it...;;; I trusted the director too, and after worrying for several days without sleeping, I finally made the difficult decision... I didn’t want to spend my whole life getting stressed whenever I looked in the mirror...!! I scheduled the surgery for the earliest available date, and while waiting, I had so many thoughts... Before I knew it, the day before surgery came, and people around me who had done it said I wouldn’t be able to eat tasty food for a while, so they told me to eat as much as I wanted;; I ate seafood buffet like I was about to wipe the place out..ㅋㅋㅋ From midnight, not even a sip of water, fasting!! On the day of surgery, I went to the hospital early in the morning, saw the director, did the design, got an injection, and waited until the anesthesiology specialist arrived... Ah, even in that moment I was debating whether to run out or not, a debate that wasn’t really a debate;;ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Finally, the surgery seemed to start, and I slowly drifted off under anesthesia..... When I woke up from anesthesia, I was in the hospital room, and next to me were as many as 4 of my friends;;; so embarrassing!!ㅋㅋㅋ From what I heard, it was a major 6-hour surgery~ㅋ While my friends were waiting, the nurses, the anesthesiology doctor, and the director all said consistently that they had shaved it really carefully and a lot;;;ㅋㅋ Thank you to the director for taking such care and working hard for 6 hours^^ But even though I was swollen, my friends saw my side profile and said my cheekbones were gone, and they were really amazed.. they said they could definitely tell even now.. Without even noticing the pain, I was really, really? happy and kept talking..ㅋ I stayed hospitalized that day, learned how to gargle from the nurse, and sigh, aside from the drains on both sides of my face, it was a pretty okay night..ㅋ On day 1, my face was a bit more swollen... I drank water little by little through a straw and struggled to gargle... I kept spitting blood and ate porridge... but it was so hard that I couldn’t really eat... Still, to take my medicine, I worked hard and swallowed it down..ㅋㅋ On day 2, it felt like the swelling was going down... Drinking water got more comfortable, gargling got a bit easier, and I ate by scooping with a teaspoon, gradually increasing the amount. Day 3... I heard the swelling gets seriously bad.... and it really did get bad!! Honestly, on day 2 I thought the swelling seemed to be going down, so I thought it would keep going down..ㅋ I’m wearing a compression band... and all I can think is that my face really looks like a monster..ㅠㅠ ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Still, even though I’m very swollen, everything is going more smoothly than day 2? They say the swelling will be at its worst until exactly today and then gradually go down, so I’m going to wait and see... I’m also putting in effort to help the swelling go down... Since surgery day I’ve been sleeping sitting up~ (They say keeping your head elevated helps swelling go down well) They told me to sleep sitting up until about day 5..! I’m also working hard with ice packs~ Pumpkin juice and corn silk tea will probably arrive around tomorrow...ㅋㅋ I’ll drink them diligently!!ㅋ I want the swelling to hurry up and go down so I can upload pretty photos^^
