Hello I happened to go in to look into revision double-eyelid surgery and ended up going for it...;;; Ever since I was young, my cheekbones and jaw had been complexes of mine, but surgery scared me so much that I never even dared to think about it...;;; The director also seemed trustworthy, and the nurse ladies were kind and worked sincerely too After not sleeping for a few days and worrying, I finally made the difficult decision... I didn’t want to spend my whole life looking in the mirror and getting stressed...!! I scheduled the surgery for the earliest available date, and while waiting, so many thoughts went through my mind... Before I knew it, the day before surgery came, and people around me who had done it said I wouldn’t be able to eat tasty food for a while so they told me to eat as much as I wanted;; so I ate seafood buffet like I was about to clear the whole place out.. hahaha From midnight, not even a sip of water, fasting!! On the day of surgery, I went to the hospital early in the morning, met the director, did the design, and got an injection while waiting until the anesthesiology specialist came... sigh, even at that moment I was debating whether to run out or not, though it wasn’t really a debate;; hahaha finally the surgery seemed to start and I drifted off under anesthesia..... When I woke up from anesthesia, I was in the hospital room, and next to me were as many as 4 of my friends;;; so embarrassing!! hahaha From what I heard, I had a major surgery~!! While my friends were waiting, the nurse ladies, the anesthesia doctor, and the director all consistently said that they had shaved it really meticulously and a lot;;; haha Director, thank you so, so much for taking such care and working so hard^^ But even though I was swollen, my friends saw my side profile and said my cheekbones were gone, and they kept finding it amazing.. saying they could definitely tell even now.. I didn’t even notice the pain and was really, really? happy, so I kept talking.. lol I was hospitalized that day and learned from the nurse lady how to gargle and how to drink water (thank you that day, unni♥) Phew, except for the blood drains on both sides of my face, it was a pretty okay night.. lol On the first day, my face was a little more swollen... I drank water little by little through a straw and struggled to gargle... I kept spitting blood and ate porridge... but it was so hard I couldn’t really eat... Still, I forced it down so I could take my medicine.. haha On the second day, it felt like the swelling was going down.. Drinking water became easier, gargling became a bit easier too, and for eating I scooped with a teaspoon and gradually increased the amount... Day 3... I had heard the swelling gets seriously bad.... and it really did get severe!! Honestly, on day 2 I thought the swelling had gone down, so I figured it would keep going down.. lol I’m wearing the compression band... and all I can think is that my face really looks like a monster..ㅠㅠ Hahaha still, even though I’m very swollen, everything is going more smoothly than on day 2? They say the swelling will be at its worst until today and then slowly go down, so I’m going to wait... I’m also putting in effort to help the swelling go down... Since the day of surgery, I’ve been sleeping sitting up~ (They say keeping your head elevated helps swelling go down well) They told me to sleep sitting up until about day 5..! I’m also doing ice packs diligently~ I’m also diligently taking pumpkin juice and corn silk tea^^ I want the swelling to go down soon so I can upload pretty photos^^
