The thing that stressed me out the most was that my nasal bridge started awkwardly from the middle, so instead of my nose looking connected, it looked like it was abruptly cut off halfway. It felt like the overall flow of my face was interrupted... So while looking into natural-looking rhinoplasty, the clinic director pinpointed exactly what had been bothering me and said they could make the line connect naturally from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip, so I decided to have surgery right away! The line wasn’t made too high or noticeably different, and we went with a line between a straight-with-slight-curve and straight shape that suited my face well. The surgery ended faster than I expected, and it didn’t hurt, so I wore a mask and a hat, took a taxi, and went home For about a day, I slept sitting up, and for around 3 days I was worried because I was really swollen from the swelling and bruising, but after removing the nasal packing and taking off the splint, it definitely felt more comfortable! When I first went for a follow-up, the director told me first that because of the swelling, my throat could hurt too, and that drinking water and walking a lot would help. I had actually looked it up because of that, but I guess I worried by myself for no reason. They also checked my recovery process, kept monitoring the swelling and how the shape was settling, and the director explained symptoms according to each postoperative week first, so I felt reassured. It’s been about a month now, and there’s no swelling, and it has settled well on my face!!! The line from my forehead to the tip of my nose is really smooth and natural, so it feels like the overall balance of my face improved a lot! I like it so much!!!!
This is a surgery review pursuing a natural-yet-refined look.
