Day of surgery to 1 week (6/21-6/28) I had revision posterior-lower canthoplasty (revision surgery only for the posterior canthoplasty) performed by Director Kim Hyo-dong at a plastic surgery clinic! From immediately after the surgery until about a week later, the yellow bruising and swelling were quite severe. I think it may also have been because I didn’t diligently do cold compresses in the beginning. Later, I was worried because the bruising wasn’t going away well, but when I combined it with warm compresses, it improved much faster. Week 2 (around 15 days later, early July) Around the 15-day mark, the bruising was almost all gone, and I was able to wear light makeup. However, a little residual swelling still remained, and there was a slight sensation at the outer back of my eyes as if they had been cut. Maybe because I originally had sanpaku eyes, in the early stage the sanpaku looked even more noticeable. 1 month (as of July 21) After a month, even the residual swelling was almost all gone, and the areas that looked awkward at first gradually settled into a more natural look. The sanpaku was much less noticeable too, and my eye shape felt more defined while still giving a softer impression. People around me often said that I somehow looked prettier and that my impression had become gentler, and I was especially satisfied that it wasn’t overcorrected. 2 months (as of August 21) By the second month, it had definitely settled into a stable shape. At first, there was a slight feeling that I looked a bit ghost-like, but now that part has become much more natural too. Now I need to wear lenses with a larger diameter! I have protruding eyes, so my eyes are suitable for posterior canthoplasty, and I hope it stays maintained like this without reattaching too much. The sanpaku is not noticeable either, and even though they are my own eyes, they feel much more refined, so my satisfaction is getting higher and higher. Whenever people say something seems to have changed but they can’t tell exactly what, I feel proud for no reason :) If you want a clean posterior-lower canthoplasty design, I think choosing to have surgery with Director Kim Hyo-dong at the plastic surgery clinic would be a choice you’ll be satisfied with!!!
