I kept going back and forth over whether I should do it or not, but in the end I made up my mind and decided to have the surgery! Before consultations, I also agonized a lot over the line, but an outline felt too much, and an in-out line wasn’t my style, so I really couldn’t decide on my own. So I went around to different places for consultations, and Director Lee Moon-gi at ID looked at my eyelid thickness and overall image and told me a semi-out line would look the most natural and defined, so I decided to go with that! During the first week, I was a little worried because of the swelling and bruising, but from week 2, I could feel my eye shape gradually becoming more defined~ As time passed, almost all the swelling went down, and the line settled nicely. Especially for me, I had a double crease on only one eye, so looking like I had uneven eyes was incredibly stressful, but after double eyelid surgery, both sides became perfectly symmetrical, and since I had epicanthoplasty done too, my eyes look much more open, so my satisfaction is the best >0< After surgery, feeling like I look a bit prettier gave me so much more confidence! Every time I feel this way, I think, ‘Ah, I’m really glad I had the surgery.’
