My eyes were originally very asymmetrical, so one side looked defined, but the other side had no strength and the line looked faint, almost like it had come undone, and that had seriously stressed me out for a really long time, you know? I always went around covering it with makeup, so when people saw me outside it might not have looked like a big difference, but to me it was like a secret that always bothered me, so every time I looked in the mirror I felt frustrated On top of that, I also disliked how my eyes looked stuffy like small, closed-off eyes blocked in the front and back, so I had surgery.. I had non-incisional ptosis correction plus epicanthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty all together at ㅇㅇㄷ, and honestly, right after surgery it wasn’t exactly comfortable Maybe because there was some swelling, my eyes were especially more swollen every morning, so I was self-conscious while getting ready for work, and it wasn’t easy to cover the bruising, so in the beginning covering it with makeup was a subtle source of stress Also, because my eyes felt tight, for a while I worried for no reason that they might look artificial Maybe because I did the canthoplasty procedures together too, the aftercare took more work than expected, I had to be very careful when washing my face, and I couldn’t rub my eyes, so I had to keep consciously being careful, which was a bit uncomfortable.. I guess there’s really no such thing as something that’s only good Still!!! As time passed, the swelling went down and things started settling into place, and from then on it gradually got better~ The eye shape line and the balance on both sides matched well, and the stuffy-looking eyes definitely opened up, so they looked much more refreshing! When doing makeup, before I had to draw thick eyeliner for my eyes to barely stand out, but now they look defined even with just a light touch, so it’s much more convenient!! My eyes used to look dull, but now I look like a totally different person I guess these are all processes everyone goes through with surgery You go through all these uncomfortable parts and then it settles, that’s all~ I did feel that surgery isn’t just comfortable and easy, but in the end, the biggest change is that the stress points I’d had for a long time were resolved, so I have no regrets^^
