<The review is a little long~ lol> My teeth were not extremely unattractive, but because of my rabbit teeth and asymmetrical gums, they never looked pretty whenever I took photos, so after thinking about it for a few years, I finally got laminate veneers. I had laminate veneers on 7 upper teeth + Zoom whitening + gum contouring~ and I had root canal treatment on the two front teeth. (They said they could feel sensitive if I did not.) At my first consultation, I went thinking I would only do 4 upper teeth, but they said 6 would be appropriate when considering the spaces and harmony with the adjacent teeth. One of my left lateral incisors is an implant tooth~ So unlike what I had thought, the number increased from 4 to 6.. (the pressure of the cost burdenㅜ^ㅜ) Since I was doing it anyway, I asked them to also do the tooth next to it on the left that had been covered with a crown, so it became 7 in total. After that, when they take impressions, a model of my teeth comes out like a plaster cast(?), and the future tooth shapes to be reshaped are added onto the model~ Seeing the teeth I had always been used to become small and even was so amazing... I only wanted them to become like that quickly.. lol My heart got so impatient~ They trim the teeth according to that shape and attach temporary teeth over them. The temporary teeth were less noticeable than I expected and looked real, so there was no inconvenience in daily life. (But they said not to eat things like curry because of staining.) When you go back about 10 days later, the teeth made of ceramic material are ready. After removing the temporary teeth, they lightly place them over your own teeth and ask if you like the shape~ They tell you to look carefully and decide. I said I liked them~ They were pretty, please attach them quickly! and inside I was thinking, finally the treatment is all over~~~ Yes~! But......... What the... the director looked and said the axis of the front teeth was slightly tilted to the left. It was not very noticeable, but if I was okay with it, we should wait 3~4 more days and revise them again before attaching them....ㅠㅠ sob~ Still, since these were teeth I would have to live with for about 10~15 years.. I thought it would be better to listen to the director if possible... so I had no choice but to put the temporary teeth back on and return home. Because of the anesthesia, the area around my mouth was totally like Michael from Dooly..ㅠㅠ Since I had to go around alone, it was even more embarrassing. Then 3~4 days later, I came back after finishing the treatment perfectly~ lol Now that the procedure is all done after all that, I really like it~! At first, when I had the temporary teeth, maybe because my teeth had been shaved, they ached a bit and I could not get used to them, so I could not even bite through ramen noodles. But now, although it is not 100% like my old teeth, it feels about 80~90% like my own teeth. They say after about 6 months to 1 year, they will become firmer and more comfortable~ It was a bit expensive, but I am still very satisfied now. If there is one tiny regret, I wonder if I should have made the shade a little whiter? But if I had made them whiter, they might not have matched my lower teeth and could have looked unnatural... I think they look a bit whiter in real life than in the photos lol But people's minds are so fickle~ At first, when I had the temporary teeth, I thought, they are so pretty!! I look like a different person!! But as time passed, I gradually got used to that shape and started thinking, wasn't it originally like this? Yesterday, looking at the before-and-after photos I received at the dental clinic, I thought, my teeth used to look like this? and deeply reflected once again~ lolol I am uploading front, right, and left photos. ^^ (I guess the before photos on the left are slightly bigger~ I do not think my front teeth were originally that big..-_-;; lol)
