Protruding mouth, .Everything about orthognathic surgery..1

I don't have professional knowledge, and I'm not affiliated with any hospital, so I’m leaving this post because I didn’t know how to answer everyone one by one.... This post...was written on April 6 after I had protruding-mouth surgery on March 24....Please keep that in mind?^^ First of all....discomfort after surgery....cost....recovery period, etc. A lot of people asked about these things.... These were things I was curious about before surgery too...so though I’m lacking, I’ll share my thoughts.. I’m not a medical professional either...just a staff member at a cosmetic surgery meetup...and since I also had the surgery, I’ll only answer based on my own experience... The hospitals that can do the original orthognathic surgery are... P...Y...I...S.......G...and so on, to narrow it down... Among those places, at Y... My younger cousin had orthognathic surgery there in 2009, and the person who wrote a review on Y's homepage under recommended surgery reviews with the ID "Aengtaejaengi" is my cousin...^^ A friend also had orthognathic surgery there on January 29, 2010... On April 5, one of the younger siblings I really like had a combined surgery: cheekbones, orthognathic surgery, asymmetry, and something under the eyes... I also researched the hospitals above a lot... And as a result, I chose Y... I trust the surgical results of Director Y completely from my point of view.. Also, two other places were done by one close older sister of mine and her younger sibling respectively, and the surgeries there also went well...(done at P and at O) I had protruding-mouth surgery at this Y clinic on March 24 at 10:40. Before getting surgery, I researched many places and chose carefully. Because I was a staff member at a cosmetic surgery meetup, I had too much miscellaneous knowledge, so after thoroughly researching all the hospitals...I decided on that place.. My younger cousin and my friend both had surgery at Y, and the surgical results also played a big part in my decision.. The cost was.. O > P > G... > Y > S > O.... First, since the original orthognathic surgery at O isn't possible, I’ll exclude it.. The costs at each hospital were.... Usually, including orthodontic costs, protruding-mouth cases were in the 10,000 to 18,000 range. For orthognathic surgery, it was in the 16,000 to 28,000 range.. No one can really guarantee what discomfort after surgery will be.. Even appendectomy can cause discomfort, after all. Maybe because I had surgery not long ago...should I say chewing feels like the teeth are lifted? It feels like that, so I’m not chewing very well..(This was written just a week after my surgery...so that's why...and now I can chew well...but because of the braces.. whenever the inside of my mouth touches something, it sometimes stings.) It has been about 13 days since surgery...the swelling is almost gone, just residual swelling?? Still....with time, it should get better. My younger cousin is one year post-op, and it doesn’t interfere with daily life and has become so pretty. She chews well too....her face got much smaller, and her lip line is pretty too.. Only, in the chin...the sensation is still not as strong as before, they said. But... That would be a discomfort only the person can feel... Oh right, they still sometimes put in something called a retainer...a transparent...tooth-mold-shaped thing. In my friend’s case,,,it’s been a little over 2 months since she had it done on January 29. The result is an incredibly small face, and she is very satisfied with the surgical result. Her side profile became even smaller than my younger cousin’s, but when I asked the director...they said it was because of the bone structure.. That’s how it could be made. Maybe not like a C-d, but...it seems to have become small and very pretty.. According to my friend,...she is extremely satisfied with the surgery.. She still says hard dried squid is hard to chew.. When I asked an older sister who is about 4 years post-op.. She’s pretty....and chewing is all normal...(this older sister had surgery at a different place than the one I did among the hospitals above, at P and O) Everything is good...but the older sister said the same thing as my younger cousin. The sensation in the chin fat is...a little....different, she said,...the feeling... This too is probably something only the person can feel.. Recovery period? I’m not sure what recovery means.. I think at least 5 months need to pass before chewing is all okay and such. Actually, the orthodontic period seems to be usually around 3 to 9 months... Even then, chewing is still awkward because food gets caught between the teeth, so you don’t end up eating well.. To feel completely normal and have enough time to be comfortable, I think you need to allow about 10 months.., For daily life, there’s no problem.. Until other people can’t notice, maybe about 2 months? Swelling usually goes down quite a bit in about 2 weeks.. Residual swelling remains...and that residual swelling seems to fade gradually over several months.. Even after one month...the swelling is almost gone, so daily life is possible.. Well, I didn’t know what recovery meant, so I wrote what I thought.. The cost is high too...and you should decide on surgery only after thinking a lot about the pain afterward, because it’s different from ordinary double eyelid surgery or things like that.. I had protruding-mouth surgery.. It was so hard I thought I was going to die for a day. My younger cousin said she was struggling terribly for about 3 days. Of course, after that too, the pain and difficulty continue for about a week. It’s just that it’s at a level you can endure. Since it’s a major surgery, please research carefully, choose carefully, and make your decision. Still, from what I’ve experienced, protruding-mouth surgery brings a huge change to the face.. From my younger cousin and friend, orthognathic surgery seems to be the biggest transformation in facial size... I wanted orthognathic surgery too, but the director said that if I had orthognathic surgery, my face wouldn’t look pretty...and it might make me look a bit older... Since my face isn’t particularly large....they said it would be better to do only protruding-mouth surgery, so I had protruding-mouth surgery with V-line.. Anyway, the transformation is the best. But it’s scary and painful. Really.. On the day of my surgery and the next day...and the day after that...I regretted the surgery so much. Before surgery, I was anxious imagining things like an anesthesia accident, oh my... But when it was time for anesthesia, the anesthesiologist gently talked to me and put me to sleep^^ When I woke up, the surgery was over... Now, about 13 days have passed like this... The pain has gone away, the swelling has gone down a lot, and people say my face has become prettier...so I’m finally writing this while looking back on the past. I thought I was going to die from the pain....I respect the people who wrote their reviews on the hospital homepage starting from the day of surgery...you’re so diligent.. When are we all going to get together and start a friendship group?ㅋㅋ Maybe because I had it done when I was older..only now...I’m thinking of posting a review. Even now, I still can’t eat two bowls of rice like before, so I’ve lost a lot of weight.. Maybe that’s why...I don’t have much energyㅋㅋㅋㅋ(Just the chatter of an old lady...)^^ Please choose well..^^ Fighting.. It was a rambling post^^ My current condition...well, I’m hearing that I look much younger.. I’m not really a celebrity I like, but I’m even hearing that I look like Bunny.. I guess so.. Though, how could I be Bunny?? They say a woman’s ultimate trump card is her looks, after all,, Think a lot about it..and get lots of consultations at different places.. Make a good decision...and give it a try once. First of all...orthognathic surgery and protruding-mouth surgery...bring a big change to the face, And because it’s expensive, it seems to be worth the money...I don’t know, it gives you confidence, which is nice.
