I had large gaps between my teeth, so I had orthodontic treatment for about 3 years when I was in middle school. I wore my retainer fairly diligently, but I guess as I became an adult, the spaces between my teeth opened up a little again. Since my first orthodontic treatment ended well, they didn’t open up severely again. Just slightly? Still, because I wanted to finish properly after having gone through orthodontic treatment once, I went to an orthodontic specialty dental clinic. They gave a very thorough consultation and were kind. I started orthodontic treatment for roughly 1.5 to 2 years. They did it appropriately without things like overcorrection, and it was clear that the director was skilled. After that, I wore my retainer diligently at first, but I don’t wear it anymore. It’s too annoying.. I trust the fixed retainer attached behind my teeth and don’t wear it lol It’s been about 2 years since I finished treatment, and it has been maintained well without any major issues! Overall, I’m satisfied~~
