I compared several clinics and had nose surgery, and the reasons I decided on the clinic were as follows.
1. My face was not perfectly symmetrical, so I ruled out doctors who said they could definitely make my nose symmetrical. (I thought it was structurally impossible.) 2. I chose a clinic where the after-surgery photos matched the nose I wanted (natural and slightly high). No matter how much a doctor tries to tailor things to each patient, I thought that if the look the doctor personally considered ideal matched my own ideal, I would probably be happy with the result too.
For me, it was actually even better that Director Jung was an otolaryngology specialist, and he explained in detail the limits of how much my nose could be raised given my skin characteristics and structure, and why it was safer to operate below that limit, so I trusted him and had the surgery. Even now, not a single person has ever asked me if I had my nose done. Once or twice a year, I do hear that my nose is very pretty.
However, the nose area is firm, and although making facial expressions gradually became more natural, I think it took more than a year until I could make expressions completely freely. Personally, I am satisfied with the current state.
