But I had a lot of worries about whether it would turn out well, so after considering several places, I read blog posts from Dr. Kim Se-young, who has a lot of surgical experience and had thoughtfully reviewed many cases, and ended up having surgery with him!! During the consultation, he thoroughly checked my skin condition, eye height, the fat condition of my eyes, and the line several times. I felt that he focused on pursuing a natural change that still felt like me, and since our opinions seemed similar, I decided to have the surgery. Before creating the double eyelid, he said a small amount of fat above my left eye needed to be removed to create a more similar eye shape, and I liked that he looked at even that in detail, so I had that done together as well. For the under-eye fat, he told me that even if the fat was removed, the shape of the under-eye trough was something I naturally had, so that part would remain. As for the line, my eyelids were originally thin and had creases, so he preserved that feel and designed an outline crease. Maybe because I was under light sedation for a short time, the surgery ended without much discomfort, and recovery was faster than I expected. The aftercare was very thorough. At first, I could not really see what it would look like, but as the swelling went down, the shape gradually seemed to come out. It seems to have been about 10 months since surgery, and aside from slight incision marks, it has settled beautifully. I like that it looks more natural as time goes by. I do not think the line will loosen either. I am satisfied because I feel like I got it done properly in one go. I used to lack confidence going out with bare eyes, but now I can go around confidently even without makeup, so it feels really comfortable!
