I heard that using costal cartilage doesn’t mean it won’t droop permanently But still, the degree of drooping is much better than with septal cartilage or ear cartilage, right? I want a height and line that are on the more dramatic side, so from the start, within the possible range, should it be made a bit more exaggerated so that after it heals later, the line and height I want will come out..? Of course I’m definitely not talking about forcing it to stretch when it’s not possible, just within the possible range.. Looking at the line style, and considering using costal cartilage and that it would be revision rhinoplasty, I think that clinic seems okay too I’m curious whether they set the initial line higher, or just match it to the height you want
shwuqud Friends who like a dramatic look all seem to anticipate it in advance and make it more exaggerated. I hate it looking obvious, so I asked for something refined-natural..? and had it done twice, but both times, after time passed, it did become completely natural-looking (costal cartilage both times!)
헌걸 It’s true that costal cartilage is the firmest material. So if the septal cartilage is small, or if it seems like ear cartilage alone won’t be strong enough to support the nasal tip, costal cartilage is used a lot. I also used autologous costal cartilage when I had my nose done at a clinic because of this, but for things like this, it’s better not to judge on your own. It’s better to get a CT scan, go for consultations at clinics, and then decide.
