At one place, they said this and that about putting autologous costal cartilage in the nasal bridge and recommended silicone, so when I said inflammation was too traumatic for me, they said we should use costal cartilage. Another hospital said not to put autologous costal cartilage in the nasal bridge and that we should use silicone, and use costal cartilage only for the nasal tip. They said not enough autologous costal cartilage comes out in that amount for the bridge, so it cannot be raised much, and they keep saying we should use silicone. I’m torn

If you’re worried about inflammation, then it is true that not using silicone is the right choice.. When I had my revision at Jeongㅇ, they also used ground autologous costal cartilage for the nasal bridge, so I asked about it, and I heard the chance of warping is almost nonexistent. But it was really expensive, so I just did silicone, but if I’d had more money, I think I would’ve done autologous costal cartilage.
