First of all, I usually had a lot of stress because of my underbite and asymmetry. I tried to solve it as much as possible with orthodontic treatment, but every dental clinic I visited said surgery was necessary, so I decided to have two-jaw surgery! While looking into hospitals, I found out about this hospital, and seeing the director in YouTube videos made me trust him a lot, so I didn’t look into other hospitals separately and visited only this one place, then started presurgical orthodontics right away haha. Since it was a major surgery, it was hard to decide immediately, but the consultant explained things diligently and encouraged me, so I was able to decide more quickly. On the day of surgery, honestly, breathing was really, really hard...... But every time, the nurse on duty came right away, which gave me great emotional comfort! They also kept changing my ice packs every two hours and checked other things too, so I was really grateful. After discharge, because the wafer was fixed in place and I could only eat liquid food, I felt a little down, and especially for about a week my nose was blocked, so I couldn’t sleep properly Two weeks after surgery, I had the stitches removed and the wafer was changed to a removable one, and from then on it was so comfortable and I don’t think there was any major inconvenience in daily life!! Now that I’m at week 4, almost all sensation has returned, and only a little swelling remains in my cheeks, philtrum, and the tip of my chin! My friend took a lot of photos when we went out, and seeing my jaw look completely different from before made me truly so happy. My self-esteem also got much higher!!! Ah, my friends told me the surgery went well, so I felt really great haha. It hasn’t been long since the surgery, but my satisfaction after surgery is so, so high that I almost don’t even think about how hard it was back then. I hope the remaining swelling goes down quickly!
