I will do my best.” Strangely, those words helped me relax a little, so I was able to enter the operating room with a smile. On the first day, it hurt so much and was so difficult that I briefly regretted it, but later I realized that it was not jaw pain, but throat pain caused by general anesthesia. By around the third day, the throat pain had disappeared too, and there was almost no jaw pain. I had no bruising at all, so I think recovery was much easier. After about a week, when I went outside, I looked to other people like someone whose face was just a little chubby, and the swelling was not severe either. Thanks to that, the recovery period felt like it passed really quickly. It has now been one month since surgery, and there are no foods I cannot eat at all. I am eating normal meals comfortably. However, I am still a little careful when yawning, and I can open my mouth enough to fit about three fingers. It is still settling into place, but my jaw no longer looks angular like before and the line has become softer, so I am already highly satisfied.
