I had a consultation for a re-revision surgery for a contracted nose, and the male consultant was kind. After a detailed consultation, when I consulted with the female director, she made the surgery sound very difficult and said that if I went into surgery in the morning, I would come out late in the afternoon (even though it was under sedation anesthesia) She said autologous costal cartilage absolutely had to be used and even mentioned buttock dermis, but at the very end she changed it to donated costal cartilage. She also said harvesting autologous costal cartilage would take an hour and a half, so I did not decide to have surgery
