I had revision surgery for my damn contracted nose

Three years ago now.. my first nose surgery used a Gore-Tex implant Back then, there weren’t many surgeries like custom nose surgery, and a lot of people used implants like silicone, so I got Gore-Tex. I paid quite a lot for it too Since it was my first nose surgery, I took good care of it, and at first it wasn’t bad.. To briefly explain Gore-Tex first for everyone who doesn’t know it, it’s an implant with tiny pores, so tissue grows into those pores and fixes it in place. But as time passed, the volume started shrinking..? I felt like I’d been scammed..;; The nasal tip kept feeling like it was dropping and curling inward. Do you know what I mean..? From the front, the nasal ala shape looked strange and my nose looked crooked Anyway, that was my concern. I had never once thought I would get revision surgery in my life, because I was scared I’d get side effects when I got older Every time I looked in the mirror, I got so stressed, and when my friends wanted to meet up all dressed up, I had zero motivation to do makeup, so I just wore a hat around.. Every night, I searched a lot on YouTube for videos like botched nose surgery reviews, then in the morning I couldn’t get up, and even when I did, I didn’t want to go outside As this kept repeating, I started getting depressed.. I thought I couldn’t go on like this, so I decided to at least go for consultations and went around to about three places. They all said the same thing.. contracted nose + white nose My criteria for choosing a plastic surgery clinic were these: 1st priority - whether it was factory-style 2nd priority - whether they gave vague explanations and tried to end quickly 3rd priority - whether there were no negative comments in before-and-after reviews and general reviews I went to three places that all did custom nose surgery, and only looked for hospitals with decent revision-surgery reviews! I cut one off after seeing it was factory-style, and then debated between the remaining two. Among them, there was one hospital where the consultation alone took about two hours. They explained everything I was curious about slowly, and it wasn’t because they had no customers that they spent a long time with me. It was a one-doctor clinic, and it felt like they looked at each patient in a really detailed way, so I was drawn to it,, Anyway, my main point got long, but since there are before-and-after photos above, if your old nose surgery failed like mine, don’t stay at home depressed. Revision surgery isn’t a bad thing, so just try it once as if you’re taking a chance!! You absolutely won’t regret it.
