Before<When swelling was at its peak>Before<This is a photo after 2 months.. >It’s been a little over two months since my double-jaw surgery. I went to the dental clinic for orthodontic treatment and was recommended double-jaw surgery, and since I had already been considering it, I went to the hospital they recommended, had a consultation, and got the surgery!!
After surgery, I was hospitalized for 3 days, and on the day of surgery, I didn’t think the swelling was that severe! But while I was in the recovery room after the surgery, it was honestly so hard that I kept regretting it, thinking maybe I shouldn’t have done it.. I think I slept in the hospital all day on the day of surgery. The swelling was really bad when I was discharged, but I didn’t know.. I didn’t know that after discharge, once you’re at home, the swelling reaches its peak.. After I was discharged, the swelling became incredibly tight and puffy, and the pressure in my face was no joke. I think it was just extremely swollen from about day 5 to day 7.. That was when I suffered the most emotionally, and it was hard to keep myself together mentally. I wore a wafer for about 6 weeks, and chewing was a bit difficult right up until exactly two months, but now I can definitely feel myself recovering, and I can eat most foods now (except hard foods). My face still has swelling around the jaw.. Oh, and my nose also spread a lot, so I’m thinking about nose surgery.. I didn’t have a double chin before, but now I do, and my lips got thinner too.. This goes for all surgeries, but I hope everyone thinks it through carefully and really researches the hospital before going..! I feel like I wrote this so disorganizedㅠㅠ Sorry.
The hospital where I had surgery was somewhere I went after getting a recommendation, but after the surgery I found out there were a lot of brokersㅠㅠ……… So I don’t think I can tell you where it is.. Sorry.. I guess it’s my fault for not researching properly before surgery.. ㅠㅠ Still, I’m satisfied….. (I had it done at a dental clinic) … I’m not a broker, I’m writing this to level up my account …… I hope everyone gets it done at a university hospital..
Anyway.. these days people around me tell me so often that my face has gotten smaller, and now I think I’m glad I did it. I don’t regret double-jaw surgery haha
