<After surgery><Before surgery>I often heard things like, "Your nose is pretty. Did you maybe have nose surgery?" "Your nose is okay," and "Ah, your nose is pretty because you take after your father." Of course, even people meeting me for the first time said that, but acquaintances said it a lot. (In my opinion, it maybe looked a bit ambiguous, not exactly like a surgically done nose, but high, so I think that’s why I heard those things..) Maybe because of that, I never usually thought my nose was ugly and just lived thinking it was average. Then one day, I saw my face taken with a regular camera, not a beauty-filter camera, and suddenly reality hit me so hard lol. I think from then on, the thought of "Should I get nose surgery.." slowly started settling in my mind. After that, through YouTube nose surgery reviews, revision rhinoplasty reviews, and various other routes, I looked into and studied the rhinoplasty process, results, side effects, surgical methods, and materials in many ways, then decided to go up to Seoul. Over 2 days, I went around to 4 plastic surgery clinics for consultations and advice. In the end, I decided to go with a doctor who matched the look I wanted (flashy but elegant) and was known to have good skills. Ultimately, I had surgery for bulbous nose correction + long nose + nasal tip (donated costal cartilage) + silicone + osteotomy. After the surgery, I was extremely satisfied, and people around me congratulated me, saying I had become even prettier And now I’m at 8 months, the swelling has gone down a lot, and when I look at old photos, I wonder why I thought my nose was okay back then...(Gaslighting is scary.. Since people around me kept saying it was pretty, I guess I really thought it was pretty..) I think it was one of the surgeries I made a good decision on. There is a lot of talk about side effects and revision surgery, but I’m someone who strongly believes I should be pretty while I’m at a pretty age, so I just went for it hehe
