Just this past Monday, I went to the hospital and had what wasn’t quite a scuffle, but a back-and-forth over my nose. I had eye surgery done together too, and the result of the eye surgery also turned out really bad. I had eye and nose plastic surgery on the 20th of last monthㅠㅠ The doctor said it could be because of swelling, and got emotional, so the friend who came with me also helped, and I said, explain why my nose is asymmetric, why the nasal support looks crooked, and why the nasal tip is blunt and drooping downward, and then the doctor asked what I wanted. So I said, you operated on even a normal nose like this, how could I have revision surgery here? I asked for a refund, and then the doctor told the counseling nurse to proceed with the process and left the room.. According to the counseling nurse, they’re going to file it today with a deduction/compensation body? (Korean Medical Association) they said they have insurance, and that the insurer would call me within a few days, then find a point of agreement between the hospital and me and adjust the refund amount. Has anyone received a refund this way? Today is Children’s Day, so I’m going to wait until tomorrow morning, and if I don’t get a call, I’ll call the hospital to check. It’s frustrating. The surgery didn’t go well, and the doctor is acting shamelessly, and if I’m going to get revision surgery at another hospital sometime next week, I need to know whether they touched the bone, whether they harvested an appropriate amount of cartilage, and I need preoperative photos too. It seems I still have more reasons to go through this hospital, and anyway, a 100% refund probably won’t be possible, so I’m the only one taking the loss. Beyond the loss, really.... the impact my face will have on my life going forward...,ㅜㅜ If anyone has experience or knows about this area, I’d like to ask for advice. Please help me by private message or comment ㅠㅠ
