Since it was my first cosmetic surgery, I didn’t know much and went into the consultation feeling nervous, but both the consultant and the director answered my questions kindly, so I liked that. All the clinics I had consulted with up until then seemed to recommend costal cartilage, but at Begin, it didn’t feel like they insisted on only one type of material, which I liked. In the end, I had surgery using my septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and I also liked that they checked during the consultation whether my septal cartilage was weak or strong. Also, when I told them I was hesitating because people recommended not doing alar reduction since it can’t be reversed, they clearly answered that it would be better to do it, so I had alar reduction done together. I wanted a nearly straight, slightly curved semi-beoseon line, and I wanted to add overall volume to my face by raising my nose. I told them I didn’t want the bridge to be too thick, but wanted the nasal tip to have a rounded shape without looking too obviously operated on, and I’m satisfied because I think it came out just like that haha. It’s fascinating because I feel like I gained the maximum amount of volume within a natural-looking range. My impression changed because my nose became higher, but it doesn’t feel separate from the rest of my facial features? According to the consultant, I heard the director takes a long time with surgery and only does one surgery a day, and for me, that actually felt good because it seemed careful. I think my surgery actually took about 6 hours too. After surgery, I can’t say my ear and nose didn’t hurt, but since I took my medication consistently, from day 5 onward there wasn’t much pain. I also had almost no bruising compared with other reviews. Even when the splint was removed at one week, only a very small amount of bruising remained. So I was able to put on makeup right away on day 8, and daily life was possible right away too! Since I walked every day, I could see my nose gradually becoming more natural. At first, honestly, I did feel like my nose was a bit big, but as the swelling gradually went down, it returned to a size that suited my face, and I became even more satisfied. I have no trouble breathing at all, and the nose surgery process felt like it went more smoothly than I expected. For the post-op checkups too, the director checked on me every time and answered my questions, so it felt trustworthy.
