My nose had always been very small and low since I was young, so I had very little confidence in my appearance. I had been thinking about rhinoplasty since college, and after getting my first job and saving up my salary, I finally gave myself a self-gift with the money I earned. I didn’t have much information about rhinoplasty, so I asked my older sister and got a lot of help from a female friend and online communities. I searched for places that are good at male rhinoplasty and have good reviews, and after consultations, I wanted to get rhinoplasty even sooner. During the consultation, I told the director about my concerns, and I wanted a nose shape that looked masculine yet natural. Personally, I didn’t want the nasal tip to be too pointy or for it to look too obviously surgically done. As you can see if you look at my nose before surgery my nose was really so small that it had no presence, but after surgery, I feel like it has a more masculine look, and I keep looking in the mirror. From the front, my bulbous nose was also quite severe, so I had a complex about my nostrils looking too large. I think the director refined this part well in a trendy, sophisticated way. Also, people around me often tell me that my nose looks much better after surgery, so I truly think getting the surgery was a good decision. After rhinoplasty, I’ve gained a lot of confidence in my appearance, and now I’m thinking of deleting all my old photos
