Hello(!) In commemoration of stopping by this community for the first time in a while, I wrote a long post; but I got logged out at some point, and everything was gone, gasp.. Since I don't have much time, I'll keep this as concise as possible. I hope people who are considering implant removal will definitely read this.. At first, I had ★ 3 mm silicone bridge + septal cartilage at the tip + tip extension surgery, , and about one month and ten days later, I removed everything. As of today, it has been about one month and fifteen days since the removal. Well.. in a word, I'm still recovering too,, Since it isn't a time when full recovery has been achieved, my current results aren't the whole picture, but I still wanted to post this in case it helps. The concerns people send me in messages are all concerns I used to have too~ hm For those worrying that the bridge will collapse,, It won't collapse. It didn't collapse. Septal cartilage isn't the only cartilage supporting the bridge. For those thinking about repositioning..... If the septal cartilage is harvested, I think its functional role is lost. I don't think it's necessary to extend the surgery time just to reposition a septum that no longer has function Keeping the nose open for too long definitely isn't good If you're saying the bridge has sunken, according to the doctor, if enough time has passed after surgery, as the skin stretches, when it's removed the skin sags and the skin has become thinner, so the bridge ends up lower than before.............. So if you had surgery not too long ago, it doesn't seem like something you need to worry too much about. For those worrying that the tip support will be removed and the tip will collapse... I was told especially that my tip cartilage was very weak, so I was even more anxious.. In the end, it didn't sink down.. My nose tip is less refined and less slender than before, and my nostrils are uneven, so I'm upset about that, but when other people look at it, "Doesn't her nose tip look weird?" "Doesn't it look like her nose tip is pressed down?" there really isn't any reason they'd say that, and except for my family, my best friend, and me, other people see my nose as normal 99% of the time, so it's fine.. It's a battle with myself in the end Are you worried the nose tip will drop more after septal extension? It doesn't drop as much as you'd worry about,, That has been true for me so far too, I had contracture for about a week, but I was actually worried it might come down more, though the height is almost the same as my original nose. Because there is scar tissue, it's a little lifted, so if you take that into account... hmm... I'm a bit worried about the future, but even if the scar tissue contracts and the tip comes down a little more, I don't think it would be serious enough to be a big problem I have to believe that However, apart from everything else, my nose tip is still hard and I still can't do the pig-nose thing It seems some people can do it quickly, but I still can't.. I worry that maybe they didn't remove the support structure.. but the hospital said they removed everything according to the counseling nurse.. They told me to wait a little longer until the 3-month mark.. So I'm trying to do that.. For now, it does feel less fixed in place than before the removal, and it also feels a little softer, so hm... In the end, there aren't any major reasons for concern, but these little differences make it hard on you Still, I don't regret the removal itself. Both I and people around me say I did well,, My opposition was really strong too, so I removed it while I was away from home for a bit (you'd call that running away from home) I had the removal done during that time..................... The first surgery was far too rushed, and so I regret it terribly, but I really think removal was the right decision,, If I leave a post like this, other people who are considering removal might think they could be the exception and envy me a little, but I'm not so at ease that I'd be worthy of that envy either;; Still, if you're thinking about removal, I hope you do it as soon as possible............ But not rashly, make sure you research enough and be prepared to accept some degree of the downsides in advance,, Still, it's upsetting~ Because the first post got lost, I ended up writing this in a rush and it feels a bit disorganized,, Still, I hope it helps many people. Then stay strong~ fighting!!
