I usually felt like my nasal tip was round, so I thought my face seemed to lack masculinity, and I wanted to change my appearance. Since rhinoplasty seemed like the most appropriate choice for a man, I went to consultations at a total of 6 clinics. I chose a plastic surgery clinic because the director gave me confidence and explained the direction he was pursuing, which appealed to me the most. As for the results, my male friends do not notice that I had rhinoplasty, and when I tell them that I had nose surgery, they react naturally, like, "Oh right, your nose turned out well." My nose definitely became sharper and higher, but I think the director was right when he said that if the nose shape itself looks natural, people would think this was the nose I originally had. Now that I am in my 4th month, it is gradually looking more natural, and it feels like it was originally my nose. I do not have close female friends, so I have not heard women's opinions, but compared to before, I think I have a somewhat more masculine impression. The scar can be a concern, but I think choosing autologous costal cartilage from my first surgery was a really good decision. I feel quite satisfied, and I think even if I had asked for a slightly more dramatic result, I would not have had to worry about it looking unnatural.
