Top is before surgery Bottom is after surgery After having surgery last Wednesday.. Today I finally had the stitches removed and had the tape and splint removed.. After they removed them.. My nose felt much more comfortable and good........ But the pressure from that sebum..... The nurse told me not to remove the sebum while irritating it too much.. She said to just wipe it off slowly... and not irritate it too much in the early stage... After the tape removal, I had a consultation with the doctor.. He said it seemed to have gone well... He said there was still swelling and yellow bruising on the nasal bridge... He said probably by around next week, a lot of the swelling will go down and the bruising will also disappear.... First, they removed the stitches from the columella area.... He said the inside of the nose has dissolvable sutures, so they didn't remove them... But my friend had dissolvable sutures inside the nose and didn't get them removed.. Later, a lump like some kind of pimple formed.. so they went to the hospital.. had local anesthesia, and had that pimple-like thing cut open, apparently.. When I told him that story,,, he said that only happens to a very small number of people.. and if I want them removed, I should come back in 2 weeks to have the stitches removed... He said not to let much water touch my nose yet... And he told me to avoid swimming pools, alcohol, smoking, glasses, and sunglasses for 1 month.. I had the stitches removed from the columella area now, and it stings.... I have tape on that area, and he said to remove it after 2 weeks, and to remove the tape behind the ear after 3 days... and with that, the consultation with the doctor ended haha I did take photos as soon as I got back.. but I'm in total wreck mode... all the facial oil is showing clearly in the photos I had 5 mm silicone for the nasal bridge, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and septal cartilage for the columella. So I'll only upload the photos briefly hahaha Please evaluate me objectively..... Oh, and please tell me tips or precautions for aftercare hahaha Oh, and when the swelling goes down, does the nasal tip come down a bit more???
