Hello.. I had surgery in early February this year, and now I’m entering month 5 after surgery. I got inflammation right after surgery and barely managed to get it to calm down, but maybe it hadn’t completely settled.. About a month after surgery, the inflammation recurred, and the doctor said there was about a 90% chance I’d need removal, so it would be better just to think of it as getting it removed. I came into this community and asked for a lot of advice too.. I think my inflammation was caused by smoking.,. I just quit smoking, which I’d done for 12 years, because of my nose lol Then the inflammation calmed down.. After surgery, I also barely touched alcohol for almost four months.. I really think proper care is necessary.. They say once inflammation happens, it happens again, but I don’t know. Right now I don’t see any signs of that haha Those receiving treatment for inflammation, hang in there. If anyone receiving treatment reads this, I hope it gives you some comfort.
