Since it’s revision rhinoplasty, I had consultations at 4 places 1. Autologous costal cartilage 2. Autologous costal cartilage 3. Autologous costal cartilage Lastly, I went to one place I had booked They took a chest X-ray, and they said it was calcified so I can’t use autologous costal cartilage They said I have to use donated costal cartilage I had a mental breakdown. I thought I’d be getting revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage, but now they’re saying I have to use donated costal cartilage And actually, this place says donated costal cartilage is more expensive. I asked the 3rd consultation place that I had picked out for surgery. When I said that they took an X-ray and said it was calcified so it couldn’t be used, they said donated costal cartilage is cheaper than autologous costal cartilage and that the anesthesia would change from general anesthesia to sedation anesthesia. I don’t know what the right answer is. Is there anyone here like me?
