I came back after 2 weeks and there were sooooo many messages that I don’t think I can reply to all of them ㅠㅠ so here... My nasal bridge was very low, and the tip was fine. I got surgery because I hated my flat-looking face due to having no bridge. I had 4 mm silicone, alar base tying, tip support with septal cartilage, and a columellar support with septal cartilage too, so I had the full package ㅡㅡㅜ As the swelling gradually went down, by day 10 I was like, wow, it’s really pretty... my nose... but a little C-curve started forming from the silicone to the tip. I got annoyed because of that, wandered around the internet, found this community, and learned that the issue wasn’t the crooked nose itself but that many people were removing the silicone, and so on... Then I thought, ah, I want to take this out. My mom said, if I hadn’t found this place, I wouldn’t have taken it out, would I? and I was on edge, afraid I might bump into something. And at some point... I also thought I can’t live with silicone in my nose until I’m in my 60s or 70s... and so on, in my own way ㅠㅠ Right now it looks pretty, but if I had to remove it because of some problem and my nose changed, I worried I might not be able to adjust to it... Also, I’m a student right now, so it’s vacation. I decided that this was the time, let’s remove it. So after the surgery, when I went to the hospital at the 2-week mark and said something, the doctor, the manager, and the woman at the front desk all lectured me about why I’d remove it when it looked pretty and so on ㅡㅡ Everyone, at times like that...... don’t get annoyed. Removing it is surgery too, and it has nothing to do with the shape, right.. Besides, because it had only been 2 weeks, I had to pay removal fees too I was really furious ㅡㅡ but at another hospital they said since it had only been 2 weeks, if they did anything and something went wrong, it might come back on them, so they told me to have all the surgery done at the original hospital, and I paid that money and had it removed. Even if you’re annoyed, endure it and endure it again.. and normally, if it hasn’t been long, another hospital will remove it for free~~ My hospital was a bit... expensive originally......ㅜㅜ (not bragging...ㅜㅜ) Before surgery, I read Maybey’s post and thought, ah, it’s a relief that there’s someone who even writes out plans like this, but seeing how hard she was having it, I was ..... scared... stressed out and crying every day... That was me. I said I’d remove it at 2 weeks, but because of many 3rd-year high school examinees and lots of women during plastic surgery season... I ended up removing it at 3 weeks. I cried for a week and lived in hell.... After removing it, I ate like crazy because I was worried about nutritional loss.. At one week, I took off the splint and, ha... a nose bridge with no bridge? a wide tip? I brought this on myself, but I kept crying...... At 2 weeks, there was no big change. I washed my face very lightly.. it hurt when I touched it. At 3 weeks.. no big change.. just ate well, watched TV, cried... At one month, the swelling went down just a little so I looked a bit more human... And by one and a half months.. the swelling is going down a little more. My friends say the bridge seems even lower.. It was already severely lowㅠㅠ Still, my nose isn’t like Solbi’s.. where it’s hugely lifted, and it’s not ugly cosmetically either due to the silicone removal.. It’s definitely not a face that gives other people disgust. The lifted part of my nose was only 0.1%... and even that only I know about My nostrils got a little bigger though But I still keep worrying about the lifted tip.. Even now.. And you asked about care, but if you read Maybey’s post, you’ll see it, but what I think was realistically doable was: 1. Take Livlaben three meals a day like your life depends on it There are hospitals that don’t prescribe it but I still said I’d definitely take it and got it prescribed. The doctor said there’s no need to take something they don’t give you, but do whatever you want~ I was taking it as my last thread of hope within medical limits. Taking this does seem to loosen the hard parts of the nose a bit. 2. Take multivitamins and live a clean life (?) This is good for anyone’s body regardless of the nose! Eat well, don’t drink or smoke, and spend your time comfortably like a jobless person. That would probably help the nose’s condition a bit, right? Because the muscles or cells get better or something?... 3. Massage the nose a little Maybey said she put on a hot towel and did massage, or just grabbed the nose and pulled it down a lot. But my nose is insanely hard.. even now. So when I touch it, it hurts a bit. So I absolutely couldn’t do much, just once or twice a day when I was on the computer or watching TV, I’d very gently pull the nose down? That’s what I did. It may differ from person to person, but I think you don’t need to worry too much about the nose contracting and rising. The nostrils may get a little bigger or the shape may change or the nose may look a little lower.. but it doesn’t make you look disgusting. I really...... was fully satisfied with the nose, except that it was a little crooked But I took it out because I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown... So now I feel at ease, but when I look at celebrities, especially those whose whole point is their nose, I still want to put the silicone back inㅠ But... I think I can’t keep it in until I die, even if I’m 60 or 70... so I’m just thinking, let me live with my own nose.. Some people say then just take it out when you’re 60 or 70... but still.. And aside from things like inflammation that definitely require removal, there’s also sagging noses or show-through... My friends are like this now too.. they’re having a hard timeㅠㅠ Everyone...... this is getting so long.. and it’s all over the place... I got asked so many things.. don’t imagine the absolute worst-case shape for your nose!!!!!!! Not that much, okay?.... And you shouldn’t get greedy for that eitherㅠㅠ I’ve only been at one and a half months now, and there’s scar tissue inside my nose and the shape is kind of ugly, but... because it’s definitely not ugliness caused by plastic surgery complications..!! I’m happy. Everyone, stay strong! Ah, one last thing ㅜㅜ people who work at companies may not have much time.. Just like when you first had the nose surgery, you’ll need at least one week for the splint and hospital visits, so you need a week. After that... it hurts like when you first had the surgery, so you have to wash your face very gently, and there is swelling... please keep that in mindㅠㅜ I still can’t do makeup well. On other areas I can cake on foundation, but on the nose I really have to do it very lightly, and even when removing it..ㅜㅜ Honestly, from here on, even if the nose shape changes a bit.. ha.. the hospital can’t really do anything about it, so the only way seems to be to endure it, control your mind, and spend your life without worrying about your nose!!
