Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

ㅇㅂㄹ/ㅇㅂㅅ/ㅈㅇㅌ/ㅎㅌ/ㅁㅇㄷ/ㄸㅋ Eye and nose consultation review...

I had buried-incision double eyelid surgery + upper epicanthoplasty 5 years ago, but I’m disappointed because the front line is slightly covered, and my eye-opening strength is weak (my brow bone and eyes are close together). I wanted ptosis correction, so I went around for consultations for revision eye surgery + first-time nose surgery (bulbous nose). I went to 6 places, but because of my terrible indecisiveness ㅜㅜ I can’t decide... so I booked 2 more places next week,,, lololol

1. ㅇㅂㄹ / Director ㄱㄷㅇ Inno-fit silicone? 3-5 mm, nasal tip with septal cartilage + ear cartilage, nostril lowering, For the eyes, he said I didn’t necessarily need to do them, but non-incisional ptosis correction was possible. With an incision, it could be made clearer, but he said there wouldn’t be a big difference. The director was totally like a friendly neighborhood uncle, super kind. The price was 5.17 million won at the event price.

2. ㅇㅂㅅ / Director ㅅㅈㅎ Silicone 2-3 mm, nasal tip with septal cartilage and ear cartilage, lateral nasal osteotomy on both sides. I don’t remember the eye consultation..... ㅜ The director was a calm type, but he answered questions well! But he looked a bit tired...... Anyway, nose only was 3.3 million / + eyes 1.8 million.

3. ㅈㅇㅌ / Director ㅇㅎㅎ He said it would include silicone for the nasal bridge + lateral nasal osteotomy on both sides + 3 materials for the nasal tip: septal cartilage, ear cartilage, and donated costal cartilage. My nose is on the large side, but compared with that, my septal cartilage is small, and this was the only place that recommended functional nasal surgery! He said that if I wanted to be a little more ambitious and do it this way, I could get the slim shape I wanted. I showed him review photos with a natural-glam look, and he firmly said they were all small noses and that mine couldn’t become like that, so I was flustered lololol For the eyes, he said if I did it non-incisionally, it would be better not to do it, and he recommended incisional ptosis correction no matter what. I liked everything, but donated costal cartilage for a first surgery feels a bit burdensome ㅜㅜ The price was 3 million if I wrote an event review, maybe?

4. ㅎㅌ / Director ㅎㅅㅊ The director was very kind and said septal cartilage would be enough, but if it was insufficient, he would also use ear cartilage. Nasal tip with septal cartilage and ear cartilage + nasal bridge silicone 2-3 mm + hump osteotomy + columella surgery, nasolabial angle surgery, bulbous nose correction (fat removal + cartilage tying). He said there is a slight hump, so it should be shaved down and silicone inserted so it won’t become crooked. And he didn’t particularly recommend lateral nasal osteotomy on both sides because silicone would cover it to some extent, but if I don’t put in silicone, he said osteotomy is absolutely necessary. I liked the consultation itself, and I did feel like I could trust him and leave it to him. (After the consultation I thought, ah, this is the place... but a few days later I’m debating again.)

Another director looked at my nose, and when I said I was worried because my eye-opening strength is weak, he held my forehead and told me to open my eyes, repeating it several times. He recommended a forehead lift if improving eye-opening strength is the priority rather than wanting bigger, clearer eyes. Because my brow bone and eyes are also close together, he recommended a forehead lift rather than ptosis correction. The detailed consultation was good, but... I hadn’t even suddenly thought about a forehead lift ㅜㅜ scary.

The total price was around 5.3 million? I think.

5. ㅁㅇㄷ / Director ㅇㅇㅌ First of all, the director seemed very famous, so I had high expectations, and he was a bit blunt, but should I say he gave me the feeling that he would be good at surgery?! Nasal tip with septal cartilage and ear cartilage + silicone + lateral nasal osteotomy on both sides + bulbous nose correction (fat removal + cartilage tying). At ㅎㅌ above, they said even a slight hump had to be shaved before putting in silicone, but here they said I didn’t need to shave the hump at all (starting to get confused ㅜㅜㅜㅜ). Oh, and after looking at the CT images, he said it would be good to do orthodontic treatment later.. The price was 4 million for nose only.

6. ㄸㅋ / Director ㄱㅎㅅ 5 years ago, when this director was at another hospital, I received buried-incision double eyelid surgery + upper epicanthoplasty from him, and it looked natural and I liked it, so I came to the hospital where he is now!!! But 5 years ago, he said it would be better not to do ptosis correction, and this time the diagnosis was the same ㅜ He said then the upper eyelids would become more bulging and it would actually become more uncomfortable to open my eyes, so he recommended a forehead lift. If I only want double eyelids, he said he could make the front-head line more visible than now with natural adhesion + upper epicanthoplasty.

For the nose: nasal tip septal cartilage + nasal bridge silicone 3.5 mm + bulbous nose surgery. Lateral nasal osteotomy on both sides is optional, but he said silicone would cover it and didn’t particularly recommend it (this part was the same as ㅎㅌ). He said if I do both osteotomy and silicone, it would become too slim compared with my bone structure and nostril width, and the proportions wouldn’t match. Both 5 years ago and now, I like his consultation and he is so sweet ~... hehe

Conclusion is... I’m debating whether or not to do lateral nasal osteotomy on both sides, and whether septal cartilage alone would prevent nasal tip drooping laterㅠ After all the consultations so far, ㅎㅌ and ㄸㅋ resonated with me somewhat, but I’m not certain, so I plan to go around for more consultations!! There must be a lot of people debating like me......? This is the biggest dilemma of my life.. Please give me adviceㅜㅜㅜ
