Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

May community review

I went for a nose surgery consultation, and even though they don’t charge a consultation fee, proceeding with the consultation without taking even one CT scan made their reliability drop a lot for me. I had been to two or three places, and all of them took CT scans before proceeding. My nose case is a functional nose eligible for private insurance reimbursement, so CT is even more important, yet even though they wouldn’t process private insurance reimbursement, they quoted 4.70 million, which was more expensive than other hospitals (they did include nostril reduction too... but I have rhinitis with narrow internal nasal passages, so if I get nostril reduction, what would happen.... would they only be shocked after opening it up and then change the surgical items? lol), etc. For various reasons, I couldn’t trust them, so I didn’t decide on surgery. The reviews are good, but I felt the basics were too lacking.
