Requested a consultation for the purpose of an abdominoplasty. The final estimate I received was for abdominoplasty and abdominal liposuction. After changing clothes, the consultation proceeded in the order of doctor (in charge of lifting) > consultant. The total time was about 2 hours, but there was quite a bit of waiting. It was good that they used ultrasound to clearly show the rectus abdominis muscle and explain whether correction was needed. I consulted with a lifting specialist, and although they seemed confident in their skills, the explanation was not kind. I think it was probably for the sake of precise explanation, but they used a lot of medical terminology, so if I had not read quite a few related papers before surgery and already known the terms, it would have been hard to understand in one go. I got the impression that they do not pressure you because they do not talk much about areas other than the part I requested the consultation for. Other hospitals recommend surgeries that would look prettier if done together, but there was not much of that here. It is about 2/3 the price compared with other hospitals, and I wonder if the estimate is cheaper because there are no additional parts. If you want to talk only about the surgery you requested a consultation for, that is an advantage.
