Applied for a consultation for an abdominoplasty. The final estimate included a 4-stage tummy tuck, abdominal liposuction, love-handle liposuction, saddlebag liposuction, and hip fat grafting. The consultation went in this order: director > surgeon (in charge of the tummy tuck) > director. The total time was about 2 hours. Compared with the total time, I did feel that the time spent with the surgeon was short. I had already done a lot of research and had gone in after clearing up some questions elsewhere, so the questions I had were pretty clear, which may be why it felt even shorter. Because the surgery is large in scale and takes a long time, I had hoped that two or more surgeons would be involved, but before I even brought it up, I liked that they explained that the liposuction surgeon and the tummy-tuck surgeon would be separate. I also have a body type with saddlebag fat, and I was thinking about that too, so during the consultation they first said that if that area were also liposuctioned, the line would look much prettier, and I got a quote including it. That made me feel they were considering the overall contour.
