Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

I’m 3 months post-op from double-jaw surgery for a protruding jaw with straight teeth!!

Hello, it is already my 3rd month after double-jaw surgery. I had orthodontic treatment when I was young, so my teeth were straight, but my protruding jaw was severe and caused me a lot of stress. Whenever I took photos, I was busy covering my chin, and I never took side-profile photos ㅠㅠ In the end, on February 26, I had double-jaw surgery and 2 types of facial contouring surgery (square jaw, front chin) at Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and now I am living a very satisfying life! hahaha For one month after surgery, I could not eat properly, and my mouth opened only enough to barely fit a Baskin-Robbins spoon. Because of that, I lost about 5 kg ㅠㅠ After passing the one-month mark, I gradually started eating soft foods, and now I can comfortably eat everything except foods that I have to tear strongly or bite into with my front teeth! haha At first after surgery, because of swelling, I could not feel a big difference, but as time passed, I could clearly tell, 'It really has changed!' Especially when seen from the side, I could feel that my chin had moved in a lot and become shorter, so I liked that. People around me also said that because my lower face no longer stands out as much, I look prettier ㅎ ㅎ These days, when I look at photos from before surgery, all I can see is my chin, so I don't think I can take them out and look at them again..~ As time passes, the swelling has gone down a lot, and my awkward facial expressions are gradually becoming more natural, so if the sensation that has not fully returned yet and the orthodontic treatment are finished too, I think this will become a surgery I am even more, even more satisfied with :)
