Everyone who saw my nose said I needed osteotomy, so mine was really on the severe side haha The place I finally chose took x-rays + CT scans and explained the autologous costal cartilage and the condition of my nose..?? But some clinics said it was my first surgery and didn’t even properly take a CT, and even if they did, they didn’t show me anything?? I honestly don’t know what they expect you to base your decision on at places like thatㅇㅇ;; And at another place, they even said I could just put in silicone without osteotomy haha For reference, my nasal bridge is definitely not low, so I was like, seriously what is thisㅋ; Anyway, the director made a preview of how I’d look after surgery, and I think the consultation lasted over 20 minutes When I was waiting, I waited about 10 minutes? 15 minutes..,, I almost got a bit annoyed then, but after hearing the explanation, I calmed down somewhat My nasal tip was raised using autologous costal cartilage My nasal tip was already lower than my nasal bridge to begin with, and they said that if the hump was reduced with osteotomy, that part would look even more noticeable, so a firm material was needed to raise the nasal tip more I was also worried about drooping after nose surgery and didn’t want to have revision surgery, so I just got autologous costal cartilage with the mindset of ending it with the first surgery! I think having an x-ray exam gave me something to trust a bit too! Still, everyone, don’t let your guard down until the end lol But after getting my nose done, I seriously regretted it during the first week. Why did I regret it? Because it was more uncomfortable than I expected… haha When it was the cotton + splint combo, I completely understood why people say they get cotton panic disorder. It’s seriously so stuffy it drives you crazyㅠ After the splint comes off, you end up living with a mirror in your hand. I think anyone would be like that And maybe because I didn’t put in silicone, I didn’t have much swelling between my eyebrows, but I had the most swelling around the nasal tip!! For about 2 weeks, everything just looks awkward because of the swelling and bruising But I just ignored it and walked around diligently, so I think it went down quickly My nose also looks much smaller than before, and it’s only been a month and a half, so I’m really satisfied with this much When I have time, I’ll show you again how my nose changesㅎ I’m an attention seeker online, so I’ll be coming in whenever I have a chance ><
