1 year after my (hump) nose surgery / photos. It's a bit long

**Can you see the photos? Hello, I had my nose done around this time last year.. Before that, I used to visit this community sometimes and just lurk, and when I came back after a while I thought my review might be helpful, so I’m posting it. Mine wasn’t severe, just a slight hump nose.. From the front it was tolerable, but I really hated the side profile People around me said it was fine, but nose surgery was truly my biggest wish, so I worked up my courage and did it. My older sister had eye and nose surgery before me. I went with her when she was visiting clinics and getting consultations. I think we went to about 7 or 8 places then.. One of them was a really famous place, and we went there because it was recommended by an acquaintance whose eyes had been done there.. But not only was the price really expensive, they were also pressuring us with something like telling us we should do procedures we didn’t even need.. My sister’s nostrils were a bit wide, and there they said she needed nostril reduction, a higher nasal bridge, and for the eyes, incision / epicanthoplasty / lateral canthoplasty all had to be done.. The cost was no joke ㅡㅡ But that place gave off a vibe of being a bit money-obsessed??.. and the doctor was unfriendly too.. so we didn’t feel right about it and went somewhere else. One of those places had a doctor who was kind, the price was reasonable, and the diagnosis felt better, so my sister had it done there. (The diagnosis was that her nostrils weren’t wide enough to justify nostril reduction, and if the bridge were raised, the nostrils would naturally become a little narrower, so they would only raise the bridge, and lateral canthoplasty wouldn’t be very effective, so she would do epicanthoplasty and incision only.) My sister’s surgery went well.. Her epicanthoplasty also healed well without much scarring... So about a year later, I also went around getting consultations because I wanted to do my eyes and nose, and first I went to that hospital I had disliked I can’t remember if it was the same doctor, but he was really curt, the price was still expensive.. and for my eyes they said epicanthoplasty plus partial incision, and for my nose they said they would raise it by 2 mm. They said they’d use septal cartilage and silicone.. But the doctor immediately spoke casually to me (I’m an office worker.. I wasn’t some middle school or high school kid that young) and made comments about my cheeks ㅡㅡ Anyway, I still didn’t like the vibe there, so I went to one or two more places.. (I can’t remember where these were;;) and then I went to the hospital my sister had used. I had a consultation with the same doctor.. and as expected, he was kind, pointed out exactly what needed fixing, and in any case, the vibe matched. For the eyes, he said partial incision, and since the distance between my eyes was already pretty good, don’t do epicanthoplasty, and for the nose, use septal cartilage/silicone to raise it by 1 mm. Since I already had a bridge, he kindly explained that it was more about shaving a little from the hump area and then smoothing the line above it.. Anyway, I had it done there because my older sister got a natural result there, and because the doctor pointed out exactly what I wanted, among other reasons. Looking back now, I think not doing epicanthoplasty was really the right choice.. I already had a bit of an inner corner, and my interocular distance was on the narrow side, so if I had done epicanthoplasty too... ㅡㅡ I’m really glad I didn’t do it at that first hospital.... It was a famous place, though. Well, there may be people who had good results there too, but I didn’t really like it I don’t remember the surgery day very well.. I just changed into a surgical gown and went into the operating room. The doctor said, “I’m going to start the anesthesia~” and then after a few seconds I fell asleep. For reference, it was sedation anesthesia... And when I woke up I was sitting on the recovery room sofa.. I don’t even know how I got there My face was really swollen.. The minor swelling lasted for a few months, I think.. but after about a month it was already presentable and most of the big swelling had gone down. I had eye and nose surgery, and for the eyes it was basically making the existing double eyelids more definite. My nose change was especially noticeable, so I’m posting it.. The side profile changed a lot, and from the front it also looks slimmer, and my nose had been slightly crooked to the right, but that was also corrected a little??, though it’s not a big enough change to be obvious in photos, so I’ll only post side-profile comparison photos.. It really looks so natural that not a single person suspected I’d had nose surgery.. But the scar is not completely absent. Since it was open approach (between the nostrils), there’s a slight stitch mark if you look from below. But it’s hard to see, so it doesn’t bother me at all. Now, one year later.. I still can’t do a pig nose, but I can move it left and right. The post is too long, right My plastic surgery experience was just pretty average?? It seems like it went without any special issues. I wanted something that would look natural and only fix the flaws. So I think it’s important to do a lot of clinic visits and find a doctor you really click with!.
