I had the surgery last February. In my case, I had ultra-high myopia (-9.25D) and ultra-high astigmatism (-3.00D), so I had no option other than lens implantation..ㅋㅋ As you probably know, compared with regular LASIK or SMILE LASIK, it seems to cost more than twice as much. Especially if you have severe astigmatism, there is an additional cost. I paid 1 million KRW more and had both eyes done for a total of 5.8 million KRW. Before surgery, I was also really worried about what I would do if I went blind. Since it is the eyes, after all,, But so far, I am living well without any major side effects. There are definitely inconveniences. The halo/ring phenomenon is the worst, and my eyes are dry? (But I think there is a lot of individual variation. My friend says they have none of that at all.) Compared with wearing glasses so heavy they felt like they would make the bridge of my nose collapse, I think that much is nothing. Compared with regular LASIK, LASEK, or SMILE, there is less glare/halation, but when looking from a dark place toward something bright, it definitely spreads. Think carefully before doing it. The price is one thing too. After surgery, you have to put in eye drops 3 times a day and sleep with a plastic eye shield for about a month.
