I got my mom a facelift before it got any hotter lol After doing a lot of online and in-person searching, facelift surgery didn’t have many reviews, and it was so hard to get real information ㅠㅠ I remember making a list after checking cafes, apps, and even friend recommendations, then going for consultations and deciding on surgery lol My mom had issues with a sagging jawline and deep cheek fat, but she was really stressed because of nasolabial folds that were as deep as scars?? So I looked into it for her. During the consultation, they explained the surgery well so my mom could understand easily, to the point that she could have come alone?? lol After surgery, honestly until around day 10?? she had a pulling feeling and said it throbbed and was difficult ㅠㅠ But she started being okay after the stitches were removed?? I could see the swelling and bruising go down a lot haha Now at one month, a lot of sensation has returned, enough for her to smile naturally, and she’s going to gatherings well too lol Since the nasolabial folds that stressed her out also smoothed out, she looks about 20 years younger, and since my mom likes it so much, I feel like it was worth doing for her lol The sagging in her cheeks also improved a lot and her jawline seems sharper too lol They said a facelift doesn’t simply pull the skin, but also pulls up the sagging muscles together, and maybe that’s why the effect looks even better lol Since it was my mom getting it, I worried whether it might be too much for her or what if recovery was hard, but honestly now, if she was going to keep getting lifting procedures anyway, I think it might be better to just do a proper facelift once lol
