I’m in my early 40s… and I felt like I was the only one aging faster than my friends, so it was honestly really stressfulㅠ I usually just lurk, but today I’m working up the courage to write a review~ I thought it might help even a little for people who are worrying like I was! Honestly, I used to think age was just a number, but at some point, compared with my friends who are married and raising kids, I felt like I was the only one who looked especially tired and older… My friends still looked lively and bright, but my face kept looking drained, my jawline looked blurry, and overall I just had this sagging, droopy feeling? Why do I look so old compared with everyone else? As I kept thinking that, my self-esteem kept dropping, and even with makeup my face didn’t come alive, so I would get pointlessly depressedㅠㅠ I had actually tried laser lifting a few times too, but I felt like the results didn’t last very well, and surgery sounded scary, and a big surgery that would obviously show was way too much of a burden... So I thought it would be nice if things could just be subtly and naturally tightened up, and I really went to a lot of consultations here and there~ The thing I cared about most was scarring. So I wanted as little incision as possible and searched for a method that would naturally refine only the areas that really needed it, so I compared clinics very carefully haha In the end, I decided on a plastic surgery clinic, and when I talked with the director during the consultation, the conversation flowed really well, like smooth back-and-forth ping-pong haha The staff were all kind too, so I felt even more at ease! The method I received was said to leave almost no scarring and naturally refine the lines, so after the consultation, I made up my mind right away! Of course, the day before surgery I wondered, am I doing this for no reason… and I was fighting between that thought and hoping it would go well, but now that I’ve actually done it, I really think it was such a good choice~ It hasn’t even been a full month since the surgery yet, but the swelling has almost gone down and the bruising isn’t noticeable either~ The before-surgery photo was bare-faced, and the after-surgery photo was taken with makeup on, so there is some difference in skin tone, but if you look at the nasolabial folds and the side line, you can clearly see the difference!
