I had nose surgery yesterday. After reading a lot of posts in this community, I thought and thought about it and finally did it.. I saw people saying L-shaped silicone is not good, but when I went, the doctor said he would use L-shaped silicone with ear cartilage. I really almost fainted I wanted to say I didn't want that, but it was already the day of surgery, so I couldn't say anything.. Is this severe contracture?... I think it was raised about 3 mm I'm so scared of things, so I really wanted sedation anesthesia, but they did local anesthesia. The anesthesia hurt so much I almost ran out. The anesthesia didn't even work properly, so I felt all the pain. If anyone around me says they're getting nose surgery, I'll pack lunch and follow them around to stop them. It hurt so much for me. I couldn't sleep a wink yesterday and just sat up. It was the surgery I had wanted so badly, but it hurt so much, and my ear hurt like crazy. Not being able to wash is the hardest part...I can't chew food, so I'm just swallowing everything. Nosebleeds and runny nose keep flowing.. I can't even talk. Right now the area between my eyebrows is bruised brown, and my nose is really swollen. So this is what Avatar swelling is............. I don't even want to look in the mirror....I'm most worried about contracture.. Will I be able to go around after a week? And I'm going to drink 5 packs of pumpkin juice a day. Does that work?. Please help me...it hurts so much I don't think I'll be able to sleep today either..
