When I first looked into hospitals, I definitely wanted to avoid styles that only make things look too flashy and went for consultations mainly at hospitals that make the line not excessive and balance it well with the face. The hospital where I had surgery told me exactly only what was needed based on my nose condition and face shape+ and the before-and-after photos they showed at the hospital were exactly my style too (natural yet glamorous? I guess I should say they really capture exactly that feeling well) so I canceled all the consultation appointments I had made elsewhereㅋㅋㅋ and booked surgery right away Swelling may vary from person to person, but I had almost no bruising or swelling and especially around the nasal bridge, there was really almost no swelling. The day after surgery was much harder than the day of surgery but that was more because of the suffocating feeling than swelling… I think breathing only through my mouth was the hardest partㅋㅋㅋ My throat stung so much from breathing through my mouthㅋㅋㅋ After the cotton was removed, it was really bearable. Around week 1, when I took off the splint and saw my nose for the first time I thought it looked higher than expected, so I got worried for no reason and kept searching, but they said that after surgery, it normally looks higher than the original for a while. They said if you think about all the swelling going down later, the current height is right so I finally felt relievedㅋㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, now a lot of the swelling has gone down and it seems to be gradually settling naturally The bulbous nose was corrected well too, so I’m satisfied The columella scar has faded a lot too, and the rib scar is not really bothersome? Since I had surgery with autologous costal cartilage, I think there may be more swelling so I’m going to watch it a bit more haha
