Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Everyone, my revision rhinoplasty with 4-point fixation succeeded ㅠㅠ I met the father of noses…

<Before><Before><Before><After><After><After><After>Hi hi everyone, I finally brought the long-awaited review! I’ll start right away lol Procedures included: autologous costal cartilage, osteotomy, columella lowering, bulbous nose correction, FitMe nose Reason for revision surgery: I had a low, short, wide, bulbous nose. My first surgery at another hospital 10 years ago did not improve the bulbous nose at all, and to make matters worse, the silicone implant bent to one side, so I had revision surgery at Lowell Plastic Surgery! Consultation evaluation: The reason I chose Lowell was that among the review photos, I saw postoperative photos of people whose noses were similar to mine, and they achieved exactly the aesthetic I wanted (I wanted a line between straight-with-slight-curve and semi-slope, as slim as possible, and I wanted the columella brought out only very slightly). They did noses so well that I went for a consultation, and Director Kim Jae-yoon was really gentle and calm during the consultation. He drew on an iPad and explained things well at the patient’s eye level. I actually went for consultations at other hospitals too, but Lowell is a one-doctor clinic + 4-point fixation with costal cartilage + 3D custom implant available for a small additional fee, so I decided to have my revision surgery at Lowell! They use all three custom implant brands: SoFit, InnoFit, and FitMe! I did FitMe! Result summary: Every hospital I went to said it would be hard to improve my nose exactly to my liking, but Director Kim Jae-yoon proved that my nose could change this much (positive)••• Detailed review: First, I used autologous costal cartilage. Since it was a revision surgery, I wanted to finish it in one go, and while I was looking for a hospital that could definitely improve my bulbous nose, I found out about Lowell Plastic Surgery. The director is famous for revision surgeries. As I mentioned above, because it was a revision surgery, I wanted to finish it in one go, and because the silicone had bent, this time I chose a 3D custom implant! Honestly, I was really scared that the area where the autologous costal cartilage was harvested would hurt, but once I actually did it, aside from feeling stiff when coughing for about a week, it didn’t hurt at all; Seriously, after surgery, when I came to in the recovery room and changed into the clothes I had worn in, I put on the comfortable sports bra I had brought and left..! That’s how little pain I had! The nose pain was just about the level of the inside of your nose stinging after blowing your nose a lot..? Even that pain disappeared right after the cotton was removed the day after surgery haha (I’m from out of town, so I stayed nearby for one night and had the cotton removed the next day.) The technician removed the stitches really well without pain, and honestly these days, many directors don’t even show up during postoperative treatment, right? But Director Kim Jae-yoon always came in, checked my progress himself, and asked if anything hurt. Seeing that made me feel, ‘Ah, this place really does aftercare properly too.’ Thanks to the swelling injections and swelling laser they did on the day of surgery + the next day + every time I came for treatment, the swelling went down very quickly, so now, a little over 2 weeks after surgery, I just go around without a hat or mask! These days, whenever I meet acquaintances, they say the revision surgery turned out really elegantly and well, so I’m hearing that I made the right decision. If I may gush a little, truly, as expected of a director famous for noses, he is my nose father, god Jae-yoon••• The postoperative photos were taken on the plane coming back after all the stitches were removed at week 2! I hope my review is definitely helpful to everyone!
