My glabella is high, and although it's not recklessly high like a celebrity's, I do have a moderately high nasal bridge.. Other people said my nose was fine and asked why I would get surgery, telling me not to do it, but compared with my nasal bridge, my nasal tip was blunt and large, and I was bothered by the bone slightly protruding on the nasal dorsum. (Even if it doesn't stand out to others, a complex that stands out to my own eyes... whether small or big, is stressful. With the thought that I might look pretty if I just fixed this part a little and that part a little) after a lot of thought, I finally had surgery, and now it's day 4. It was my first cosmetic surgery, so I had no information at all, and I just went for consultations at about three or four places. I visited places where a friend of a friend had surgery and it turned out well, places with word of mouth saying they do a decent job, and so on, but at all of them, the consultant gave me a rough consultation, or the director wasn't a specialist, or it was a clinic with employed doctors. So I looked for a hospital close to home where it was easy to go back and forth, with reasonable prices and sincere consultation, and run under the name of a specialist director. I ended up choosing a hospital that isn't that famous but gave me a good feeling. For an almost basic nose, I had non-open surgery without osteotomy, with silicone for the nasal bridge and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. Until day 2, I looked completely like an Avatar, like a human-faced fish, and yesterday the tape was removed...... It became a straight nose, not quite a semi-upturned line, with only the nasal tip raised very slightly... just the line I had asked for, and I think the flaws I was worried about were improved, but I thought that if I did my nose, even if my face didn't change dramatically, it would still look more defined than before, or have more dimension, but it doesn't. ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I'm slightly regretting it, wondering what it would have been like if I had raised it just a little higher. Is it because there is still residual swelling around my cheeks? It's too early to judge now, right? Please tell me it's because of swelling and because I'm impatient................. ㅠ But apart from the swelling, when I look at my side profile, the height of my nose doesn't seem very different from before. The slightly protruding bone on the nasal dorsum was shaved well and is gone, and the blunt nasal tip that bothered me has become slightly smaller, but I'm not very satisfied with the height. It's too natural. This was a surgery I got through crying loudly and trembling so much, so I don't plan to have revision surgery, but still.... Nose surgery is a worry whether you do it or don't do it, it's a worry if it shows and a worry if it doesn't show. Now I understand what people mean by that. Has anyone disliked the height of their nasal bridge right after surgery, but later, after all the swelling in the nose and face went down, felt that the height was reasonably satisfying?
