Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

My nose became crooked because the osteotomy was shaved asymmetrically.

I’m someone who likes socializing with people and has an optimistic personality, but these days every single day is truly so painful, and I have no one to consult, so I feel desperate. I urgently need advice or opinions. Please help me. Two months ago, I had medial epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, hump nose osteotomy, 1-2 mm Gore-Tex, and septal cartilage for the nasal tip. I had always lived hearing that I was pretty and attractive wherever I went, but I don’t know what got into me. Before getting married, I wanted to fix the areas I had always been a little dissatisfied with, so I had surgery. 1. The most serious problem is my nose. According to the CT results, the degree of shaving is clearly different between the side of the hump and the osteotomy area. One side was shaved more, so the entire nasal bridge itself leans to one side and looks crooked. Also, the 1 mm Gore-Tex is shifted to one side near the glabella. The result is one thing, but I have lost trust because of the doctor’s attitude from after surgery until now, so even if they say they will do revision surgery, I don’t want to receive it there. I want to get a refund and have revision surgery at another hospital. In this case, what kind of surgery should I have? I thought about removing the Gore-Tex and also Misko, but would it be possible to precisely fill the more shaved-down area and make the shape straight? 2. The medial epicanthoplasty was done too long, and also in a bird’s beak shape, so my eyes have become close-set and scary-looking. Sigh.. If this is because the glabella became higher from the nose surgery, will it resolve with time? I’m now 2 months post-op. Even if it’s because of the medial epicanthoplasty, will it be okay if I wait longer? Has anyone like me looked scary until 2 months and then improved? At the outer corners, the incision line is also longer than the eye length, so the ends look sharply pulled upward (the aegyo-sal under my eyes disappeared too). Will it become natural? And through medial epicanthoplasty restoration surgery, could the bird’s beak shape be made somewhat rounder, and would it leave no scar? *********** During the preoperative consultation, I was worried that my nose might look crooked or awkward, and the doctor confidently guaranteed that it absolutely would not. They seemed confident, and I decided because of that attitude, but before and after surgery were very different. Before surgery, they were calm and kind and consulted well, but after surgery, when I expressed concern, they openly got angry at me, saying I didn’t trust the doctor. From that point on, I became anxious about this surgery and felt something was wrong. Still, I wanted to trust them. Sigh.. On the day of surgery, I was worried because the splint was placed diagonally. The doctor said that didn’t matter, so I waited. After the splint was removed, and even now, it has continuously been in that state. The doctor firmly said that until one month, and after one month, again until one and a half months, it could be corrected by moving it with my hand, but now at two months, it is still the same. I was worried because the area from the osteotomy site to the glabella leans to the right and protrudes more, but the doctor says it doesn’t look that way to them. And the manager said the ridiculous thing that they would put filler on the opposite side. Then the doctor also said that doctors are human too, so implants can shift to one side or the bone can be shaved unevenly. Is that something they should say? I was speechless.. The last time I went to the hospital at 6 weeks, I thought I needed to know the surgical state, not swelling, meaning the shaved bone and the position of the Gore-Tex, so I asked them to take an X-ray, but they took a CT. Because the doctor kept saying the Gore-Tex visibly shifted to one side from the outside was not shifted. But the CT only showed bone images. Then they talked about how my glabella was uneven, mentioning a part that had really been subtle and completely unnoticeable from the outside before surgery, but I could see that the osteotomized bones were different on both sides. One side was sunken in.. I had no energy left to argue further, so I left the hospital for the time being. And yesterday, I had to work, but I didn’t have the confidence to go around with my face like this, so I got glasses. But no matter how much the optician adjusted them, they weren’t level, and there was a gap floating over the left side of my nasal bridge. My heart really sank…. Just in case, I tried on other glasses too, and after coming home I tried on all the sunglasses I used to wear, but the left side was floating in the air. So today I went to another hospital and got a CT, and the left bone had been shaved more. The bone at the center of the face is so important.. That’s why the nose became diagonal and the implant shifted to one side. Now anyone who sees it says my nose is crooked and one side is protruding. As the swelling went down, it became visible to the naked eye. As for my eyes, unlike what they said about making them round and gentle-looking for my eyes, the medial epicanthoplasty is excessively long and angled downward, and they incised the double-eyelid line about 1 cm longer than the eye length, so the ends look pulled upward. The degree to which both eyes open is also different. As the swelling goes down, overall they look very fierce. Before, the asymmetry was a difference that could be covered with makeup, but now the shape and position of the eyes themselves are uneven. This is also unfair and so hard, but the hospital may insist that it is a subjective difference. I stayed up all night again because I felt so wronged and distressed. I should go out for early-morning exercise. Every moment truly feels like my insides are rotting away, but I’m trying to keep my head together. Since my job involves face-to-face work, I don’t know whether I can even have a social life in this situation, and I haven’t been able to meet my boyfriend, whom I’m about to marry. Depending on the hospital’s attitude, I’m even considering a lawsuit. I feel like I have nothing more to lose here. When a hospital objectively makes a mistake, and then acts irresponsibly and looks down on the patient, you have to let people know somehow and make an appeal to the hospital. If I just get sick with anger alone, I’m the only one who loses, and the hospital won’t know to fear patients, and more victims will only appear. Thank you for reading this long post. Even one word of advice would be a great help to me.. Please.
